WADAC dominate Hampshire multi-event and quad kids champs

The Hampshire multi-events and quad kids champs took place in a showery Portsmouth yesterday with black and gold vests everywhere.
nThe Hampshire walks, mile (may day mile) and 3000m champs took plae on the same day and I will report on these later in the week.
nIn the multi-events, the club contested the younger age group events (U13 & U15) with the exception of the legend that is Pete Sansome (coach Nick Anderson) and came away with 3 of the 4 titles to be won.
n In the U13 boys, 6 of the 8 competitors were from WADAC but the event was won by Connor Crocott from Bournemouth. Tom Pate (coach Andy Fisher) was 2nd, and Leo Davies-Pratt (U13 academy) was 3rd. Jackson Purdie (coach Andy Fisher) was 4th, Max Evans (U13 academy) 6th, Chris Wood (U13 academy) 7th & Jack Sansome (U13 academy) 8th.
nIn the U13 girls age group Lexie Divers (coach Andy Fisher) won gold, and Hallie Eldridge (coach Andy Fisher) won silver. Mia Gligorovski (U13 academy) was 4th with Francesca Bertaccini (coach Andy Fisher) in 5th.
nFor the U15 boys, Zac Reynolds (coach Andy Fisher) defended his title to take gold with training partner Sam Evans (coach Andy Fisher) in 3rd.
nIn the U15 girls event, Lily Flute (coach Andy Fisher) ran a storming 800m to seal the title and take gold with Anais Andrews (coach Andy Fisher) who is relatively new to the sport taking a remarkable silver. Megan Moat (coach Andy Fisher) was 5th.
nIn the senior mens event, Pete Sansome took 5th place after deciding to give everything a go on the day. 6th after 4 events, Pete ran a fine 1500m to finish to move up a place and finish 5th overall on the day.
nIn the quad kids competition, WADAC won all 4 age groups contested. For the U11 boys Declan Dew (U11 academy) took the title. Sam Barton (U11 academy) was just out of the medals in 4th, Oliver Blackwell (U11 academy) was 11th and Wilf Corder (U11 academy) 18th.
nFor the U11 girls, Eva Raftery (U11 academy) won the title ahead of Lottie Osman (U11 academy) who won silver. Liane Marquis-Onibuje (U11 academy) was 4th and Eleanor Dunn (U11 academy) was 10th.
nIn the U10 boys age group, Felix Hymphries (U11 academy) won the title from Hugo Fox (U11 academy) in 2nd place. Alexander Wood (U11 academy) was 6th with Ivor Davies Pratt (U11 academy) in joint 7th.
nFinally in the U10 girls age group, Alice Pate (U11 academy) won gold, with Elsa Ramsey (U11 academy) taking bronze. Ema Gligorovski (U11 academy) was 5th with Eloise Raftery (U11 academy) in 9th.
nWhat an amazing start to the County track & field championships roll of honour and congratulations to everyone that took part.
