James Mann appointed Head of Middle Distance

Further to the recruitment process advertised at the start of the month, I am delighted to announce the appointment of James Mann as Head of Middle Distance at WADAC.

nReporting to the head of Track & Field, James takes responsibility for the middle distance events on the track with an initial focus on increasing participation in these events in league matches and championship events.
n
nJames brings a wealth of skills and experience to the role and has been responsible for coaching his daughter Annie to the European U18 1500m title last Summer.
n
nThe club now has 3 Head coaches in track & field all of whom have coached young athletes to International or Schools International vests and who are determined to deliver the clubs 5 year track & field strategy of improving both inclusivity and performance levels making the club built around athletes that feel safe and valued in an environment where they can thrive.
